Actually that is pickup truck and if you ever see it side by side with an SUV it's even bigger!

I have a Chrysler dealer a block away from my house so I can see them sitting side by side.

I thought that pick-ups were an endangered species, now that American car companies are touting the new "suv-pickup" hybrid category...

Here, cars.com lists "SUV-Pickup" crossovers

I really don't know how to tell them apart. What's the difference? Number of doors?

I only know they're f*cking gas-guzzling SUVs totally overkill for driving in a slow city like Baires.

I have even seen what would qualify as "soccer moms" in the USA, driving alone with a supermarket bag in the back!! (Unfortunately I didn't have the camera with me...). That is, a 3ton monster to transport a single person and a 2kg groceries bag...

You are right. I stand corrected. So much overkill. When I saw those in the dealer I was wondering if I would ever see them in the streets of BA and I have seen a couple. Now I wonder why they were bought to begin with.

One car type that would be great for BA would be the hybrid electric cars. They guzzle less gas in stop and go traffic than in expressway trafic. They would take like ducks to water in this town.
